About SAP Signavio

SAP Signavio helps our customers understand, improve, and transform all their business processes – fast and in scale. SAP Signavio was created through the merger of Signavio, the leading cloud provider for process management, with SAP’s own process analytics product teams. Today, SAP Signavio is one of the fastest growing cloud units within SAP and represents SAP’s spearhead for all things process. Given its strategic importance and market momentum, SAP Signavio underwent a significant hypergrowth phase throughout 2021-2022. By now, it was integrated into the P&E Board area.

About the team: Process Intelligence

This role is situated in our Berlin office which is the main seat for SAP Signavio. The whole team is seated here but the role may also work out of St. Leon-Rot, or Munich. This senior engineer role is designed to strengthen the team working on the Value Analysis feature of the Process Intelligence area within Process Analysis and Mining.

The way we work

We keep things open, agile and communicative. It is all based on trust, not micromanaging. Our team members are self-organized within their teams, working on independent projects or closely with Product Leads, developers and UX designers. We value your thoughts and ideas and will give you the freedom to push and implement them!

What you will do:

  • Develop new UI components in JavaScript or TypeScript, predominantly with React and GraphQL
  • Help to keep a large SPA maintainable and develop MFE
  • Improve our technology stack
  • Be end-to-end responsible for the product, from discussing features in the team with the PM to bringing and observing it in production
  • Review the work of your teammates and support them through pair programming and mentoring (particularly more junior colleagues)
  • Constantly improve our user experience by close collaboration with the product designer
  • Maintain a high level of quality by observing coding standards as well as crafting the right level of testing for new and existing functionality
  • Ensure adherence to SAP product standards such as Accessibility

Would be great if you have:

  • Very good communication skills in English (our working language)
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript programming, preferably using React
  • Good knowledge in GraphQL or willing to learn it fast
  • Ability to build accessible user interfaces
  • Experience building MFEs
  • Understanding of Process Mining or Willingness to learn the domain
  • The drive to understand the needs of our customers
  • Experience mentoring team members
