COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a Japanese-owned IT vendor based in Düsseldorf, Germany, providing dedicated IT services to our group companies across Europe — including sales, wholesale, and manufacturing entities. Our team develops and maintains the digital infrastructure that keeps these businesses running: ERP interface applications, a proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS), and a fully custom-built ERP solution for our manufacturing subsidiary.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Mid-level Software Developer (Backend / Full-stack) to join our team in Düsseldorf. You will design, develop, and support business-critical applications in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and end users across multiple European sites. Depending on project needs, occasional on-site visits to group companies within Europe may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain interface applications for the commercial ERP system (SAGE 300)
Design and build a Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrated with ERP workflows
Contribute to the development of a proprietary ERP system used by our manufacturing subsidiary
Write clean, maintainable .NET code for Windows Server environments
Design and optimize database schemas and queries in Oracle and MS SQL Server
Work with group companies to gather requirements and deliver solutions that fit their operational needs
Travel within Europe on an as-needed basis for requirements workshops or go-live support

JOB REQUIREMENTS

3–5 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development
Proficiency in .NET (C# preferred) for Windows-based application development
Solid hands-on knowledge of relational databases: Oracle and/or MS SQL Server (schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Experience working in Windows Server environments
Business-level English AND Japanese (both required for daily team communication)
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to travel within Europe when required
