What you'll build
Are you looking for a career in Java and TypeScript development/DevOps, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or the intersection of these domains? Then this opportunity is for you! We need someone with the right software development skills to help us develop, maintain, and improve strategy and innovation solutions, so business, information security and privacy challenges are clearly captured and communicated to senior management, and existing processes are streamlined and automated. You will learn about how we translate business needs into fully working cloud solutions, and be encouraged to propose active ideas to improve and enhance their efficiency. You will also support risk management efforts by assisting with follow-ups on risk updates and ensuring timely communication and documentation of risk responses.
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Quantitative/Analytical programs, including but not restricted to Information Technology, Business Administration or Finance
- Computer skills / Programming languages: Excellent knowledge of front-end, back-end or full-stack development – relevant technologies include Spring Boot, relational databases, HTML/CSS, Node.js, SAP BTP Cloud Foundry
- Good notions of fundamental statistics would give you an advantage – you may need to determine if a harmonic mean is a good match in a given use case, how to group the values in a data set by percentile, or when to remove outliers to improve a chart visualization
- Language skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of German or any other major language is an asset

You will be part of the CX Risk, DPP & Compliance team within the SAP Customer Experience line of business.
