What you'll build
In your role as a working student in the EDT Data Protection team, you will work on delivering modern cloud services and solutions to ensure SAP’s compliance with global data protection and privacy regulations. You will gain experience in practical software engineering by being a member of our international agile team.
Your tasks include:
- Contributing to all activities of the secure development cycle
- Applying the latest technologies such as AI adoption using LLMs, Cloud Application Programming model, SAP Build Process Automation
- Developing reporting functionality using SAP Analytics Cloud
- Working in a scrum team embedded in a large-scale agile setup
What you bring
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Preferred fields of study: computer science or similar
- Computer skills: software development experience (ideally JavaScript / node.js, REST APIs); design, development and operations of Cloud applications
- Knowledge of agile development processes are regarded as a plus
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
- Soft skills: team player, curiosity and willingness to learn, reliable and attention to detail, self-driven and creative
Where you belong
The EDT Data Protection team contributes towards how SAP respects data protection and privacy rights and safeguards the personal data of individuals under SAP’s control.
We are a globally distributed team of experienced project management and technical experts who share a passion for data protection and privacy topics.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
