What you'll build
- Support data-related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, perform data analysis & interpretation and visualization of web metrics, and web operational data. Report insights and help stakeholders to make decisions and find improvement opportunities
- Help to extract data from data platforms, track, analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) & operational status. KPIs may include but not limited to: unique visitors, exit rates, registered learners, conversion rates, active learners, licenses, CSAT, etc.
- Work with data analytics tools, which may include Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SAP Analytics Cloud, Qualtrics, Siteimprove, Python, SQL Queries and more
- Perform data cleaning and data wrangling for analysis and analytics modelling
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Process Engineering, Industrial System Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education programs are welcomed
- Proficient level with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook). Advanced Excel skills are required
- Experience with web analysis tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Some experience in user research and analyzing survey feedback
- Ideally experience in SEO, with Google Tag Manager or site crawling by AI engines
- Strong communication skills with ability to visualize data and communicate insights through storytelling
- Willing to work 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters and ability to work full time (40) hours during the Summer for a period of at least twelve months
- Fluency in English is required
- Working from Walldorf office is required, partial remote work is possible
- We are looking for someone interested in a long-term collaboration
- Suitable for students who will graduate in October 2026 or later
Where you belong
Our team is responsible for the Digital Presence and Product Insights for SAP Learning Systems. You will get hands-on experience in data collection, data analysis & interpretation, and visualization of both web metrics, and web operational data. You will play a crucial role helping the team managing data, ensuring its quality, and facilitating its accessibility for various business needs. You will demonstrate your analytical skills: Investigate learning behavior by analyzing data to optimize our digital platform and help to make data-driven decisions: prove causal effects.
