What you'll d

At SAP, technical writers are called user assistance developers, because that’s what we do – we assist the users of our software. As a working student in our User Assistance team, your job will be to support our team with tasks, like:

• Supporting the design and formatting of developer-facing documentation for ABAP Analytics
• Updating documentation and graphics to fit our standards and guidelines
• Creating videos and blogs about different software features
• Creating and maintaining clear and concise documentation
• Proofreading and editing documentation for accuracy and completeness

What you bring

• University student (f/m/d), preferably in the field of Technical Writing, Computer
• Linguistics, Communication Sciences or Linguistic Studies
• Computer skills: XML, DITA, Video Creation, Multimedia,
• Strong skills and fluency in English and German
• Soft skills: Team player and agile working mindset
• Others: Experience with multimedia tools, social media or programming skills is an advantage

Context of the project

The documentation of our ABAP Cloud programming model is an integral part of our software. Our team works on user assistance deliverables (written documentation, videos, etc.) to help developers understand embedded analytics and our development model and how to use them as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Goal of the project

We are looking for a highly motivated working student for our user assistance team with a strong interest in analytics to join our dynamic scrum team. Our documentation is the first point of contact for developers implementing embedded analytics and a vital part of our software. Building the bridge between our technologies and our users, you will support us in providing our users with the best possible developer experience.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
