As a Banking Process Manager - Operations/Product (all genders), you'll be at the heart of product and operations, leading design and documentation of key banking processes. Drive digitization and efficiency of both new and existing workflows. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, ensuring seamless user experiences and compliance with our risk and control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the framing, design, and documentation of key banking processes for new product implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency
  • Drive the digitization and monitor performance of existing operational processes to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows (incl. identification, integration & performance management of 3rd party solutions)
  • Ensure alignment with appropriate risk management framework, compliance, and efficient operation of processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technology partners to collect, evaluate and compress data and requirements from multiple sources, focusing on creating seamless user experience that enhances satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast with the latest trends, best practices and regulations in financial services and develop in-depth knowledge of banking processes to enable effective functional recommendations, and implementation.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of delivery of the processes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep experience in German banking industry (more than 5 years) incl. banking products, processes, local laws, and regulations, with a particular focus on banking and customer management processes
  • Experience in process discovery, process design optimization and change management in banking;
  • Strong experience assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing functionality to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value and is aligned with product strategy
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in matric organization especially product, process design, technology and operations;
  • Expertise in delivering and scaling operational processes in a strongly risk-managed and regulated context
  • Independent in decision-making as well as able to take direction and work as a team player
  • Fluency in English, in both written and oral communication. Additional knowledge of German preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate clear and concise information exchange, fostering alignment and cooperation among teams and stakeholders across multiple locations
