What You'll Build
In this role, you act as the senior delivery anchor for customer-facing, forward-deployed engagements. Embedded directly with SAP’s most strategic customers, you lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-stakes AI initiatives, from early discovery and rapid prototyping through production deployment and scaling. You are accountable for delivery outcomes, customer trust, and execution excellence. Operating at the intersection of business, engineering, and AI, you translate ambiguity into structured execution, ensuring that what is built works in the customer’s real environment—across data, compliance, integration, and organizational constraints.
In this role, you will:
- Lead all phases of the customer engagement lifecycle, from discovery and scoping through delivery, client acceptance, and scale-out.
- Own project scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed success criteria and business objectives.
- Drive implementation excellence and customer adoption, ensuring delivered solutions meet technical, operational, and business expectations.
- Understand customers’ businesses and industry-specific challenges and translate them into sustainable solutions.
- Serve as the primary delivery interface for senior customer stakeholders, including executive leadership, building trust and managing expectations.
- Establish tight, outcome-focused delivery rhythms, including frequent demos, transparent progress tracking, and proactive risk management.
- Navigate complex customer environments, balancing ambition with real-world constraints such as data readiness, compliance, and system integration.
- Feed field learnings back into SAP product and engineering teams, converting delivery insights into reusable playbooks and roadmap input.
What You Bring
- You demonstrate a proactive approach to leveraging AI in everyday workflows, ensuring high-quality outputs through thoughtful context design and system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to apply deep industry and/or E2E process knowledge to lead complex, customer-facing engagements.
- Acts as the senior delivery anchor, translating business objectives into executable delivery decisions and owning outcomes across forward-deployed implementations.
- Proven ability to work in an Agentic AI context, shaping and applying AI agents that act autonomously within defined boundaries, collaborate with human stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes in customer-centric environments.
- Extensive experience in project or program management within enterprise software, AI delivery, or customer-facing environments.
- Proven ability to lead ambiguous, high-impact engagements from first customer interaction to production-ready solutions.
- Strong capability to operate in customer-embedded settings, navigating executive stakeholders, organizational complexity, and delivery pressure.
- Delivery mindset with high ownership, bias for action, and accountability for outcomes end-to-end.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable execution plans for technical teams.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery approaches and experience coordinating across engineering, AI/ML, product, and go-to-market teams.
- Solid awareness of enterprise AI deployment realities, including data readiness, model limitations, compliance, and integration considerations.
