ABOUT THE TEAM
The Corporate Strategy Group is part of the S&O board area and consists of Strategy & Transformation project teams, the CMI team as well as the Corporate Portfolio Management Team. The strategic project teams shape SAP’s strategy and drive the execution of SAP’s transformation in collaboration with the CEO, COO, and the Executive Board of SAP. You will work together with individual team members with a broad range of academic and professional backgrounds incl. management consulting, solution management, technology / product strategy, sales and services.
YOUR INTERNSHIP
You will be a contributor to SAP’s corporate strategy by advising SAP's Executive Board and executives on key strategic decisions. During your internship you will be an equal part of the team. Thereby you will shape and drive high-priority cross-functional, Executive Board-sponsored strategic and transformational projects. In a highly dynamic team, you will work on setting-up those projects and driving them especially through the strategy phase. To ensure end-to-end ownership and fast strategy to execution you will continue to support them also along the transformation phase.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive all aspects of a strategy project incl. e.g., identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses across a broad range of topics, synthesizing conclusions, driving stakeholder consensus, deriving a strategy and an executable plan
- Take prominent roles in shaping and executing strategic initiatives and transformation projects end-to-end - from the start of a project through its transformation
- Proactive stakeholder and expectation management: build-up/maintain large network across all involved roles on operational level to support collaboration & execution
- Act as trusted advisor and strategy evangelist to SAP's senior leaders and executives

- In-Depth Understanding of SAP’s Strategy: Gain in-depth knowledge of SAP’s Strategy and market trends, understand the competitive landscape and their implication on SAP’s Strategy and SAP’s steering and planning approach.
- Cross-LOB and Intercultural Collaboration: Collaborate across all Board Areas to drive alignments of key stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed bachelor degree, currently in gap-year or within Master or MBA
- Significant working experience in strategic consulting and/or tech
- Well-developed analytical skills to conduct sophisticated business and financial analyses
- Focus on quality of high end products, ability to deliver finished work in self-standing manner under tight timelines
- Superior communication & presentation skills on executive level
- Perspectives and curiosity on current IT trends, their impact on business strategies
- Willingness to learn, strive to superior performance, tolerance for ambiguity and motivation to work in a highly dynamic environment
