About this role
Role
We are looking for a Partner Experience Process Manager (C6) to serve as the primary operational connector and process driver for partner experience improvements within the Article Management Operational Excellence team. The role bridges process engineering and partner enablement, connecting backend technical capabilities with partner‑facing stakeholders and collaborating with Propositions, PBO and Product to create operational insights and maximize platform partner success.
Responsibilities
- Lead core process‑excellence projects aimed at improving article management performance, such as system reject reduction, pipeline lead‑time optimization, and proposition‑focused improvements.
- Scale partner‑friction solutions by auditing data‑submission workflows, analysing root causes of merchant friction and creating scalable self‑service resources.
- Enable multi‑directional communication across Article Management, PBO, Propositions, Partner Tech and external integrators to drive improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Drive strategic partner interventions by building preventative operational playbooks for high‑liability partner pipelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in continuous process improvement, root‑cause analysis and managing mid‑sized projects using standard methodologies.
- Strong cross‑functional networking skills with the ability to connect diverse stakeholders and break down communication silos.
- Ability to work with AI tools to optimise operational flows and automate repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Databricks or advanced spreadsheet modelling.
- Deep empathy for partners and a platform‑first mindset, acting as the “voice of the partner” in technical discussions.
- Ability to influence without authority and set clear boundaries for scalable operations.
- Experience working in a tech environment and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
What We Offer
- 27 days of holiday (increasing up to 30 days with tenure) and 2 paid volunteering days.
- Employee share programme and discounts on Zalando products and external partners.
- Relocation assistance, family services, health and wellbeing options, mental health support and coaching.
- Development opportunities through training platforms and bi‑annual peer‑to‑peer reviews.
