What you'll build

  • Steering: Support the preparation and conduction of SAP’s Double Materiality Assessment. Engage in the management and steering of the resulting material IROs (Impact, Risks and Opportunities). Support quarterly status reviews, progress tracking and contribute to SAP’s holistic steering and reporting
  • Engagement: Assist in implementing employee engagement activities and managing internal communication channels related to corporate sustainability. Conduct content research for sustainability-related campaigns and projects
  • Executive Support: Support sustainability leadership through research, analysis, and coordination of opportunities and external engagements. Contribute to ad‑hoc tasks within the corporate sustainability team

What you bring

  • You are currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: sustainability (business or scientific angle), business, economics, or communications
  • Passion and understanding for sustainability and motivation to work on meaningful, innovative projects
  • A proactive, creative, and systems‑thinking mindset with strong organizational and communication skills focused on accuracy and results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Onsite presence required once a week in Walldorf/St.Leon Rot offices

Supporting SAP’s purpose to help the world run better and improving people’s lives, the corporate sustainability team helps SAP transform to a role model of a sustainable company and create positive economic, environmental, and social impact within planetary boundaries. The team collaborates with all internal lines of business and works on embedding sustainability further into everything we do. Our key focus areas entail environmental management, human rights and AI Ethics. Your work will in the cross team that cuts across those areas, and reports directly to SAP’s global head of sustainability.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
