About this role

Role: Senior Manager Media Go To Market Nordics in Zalando’s Media Team (Marketing). Lead yearly media investment and activation across the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). Adapt global frameworks, plan and optimise campaigns, gather results and share learnings. Collaborate with local media agencies and Go‑To‑Market Marketing teams. Report to the Team Lead Media Go To Market. Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with Go‑To‑Market Marketing teams and local media agencies, balancing pan‑European strategies with local needs. - Lead local annual media planning, media mix and end‑to‑end media campaigns. - Implement omnichannel activations (on/off). - Manage best‑in‑class brand media activations (upper and mid‑funnel) to drive awareness and consideration. - Deliver media planning and buying across all channels for the Nordics cluster, from briefing to reporting. - Lead relationships with local media agency offices. - Manage budgets and forecasts. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years experience in Media Planning (online/offline) within an agency or advertiser. - Degree in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent experience. - Proven record of planning and deploying local and regional campaigns. - Strong stakeholder management, confidence and prioritisation skills. - Ability to interpret and present actionable outcomes; high‑level presentation and Excel skills. - Excellent communication skills, fluent English (additional Nordic language a plus). - Knowledge of European media landscape, especially the Nordics region. - Passion for marketing/media and cross‑team collaboration. - Experience in fashion/retail/beauty/lifestyle industries appreciated but not required.
