What you'll build

  • Project Management Support: help create and maintain working documents such as project presentations, project plans, etc. to ensure a smooth event planning cycle
  • Support the project team (organization of calls and meetings, writing of meeting minutes, follow-ups etc.) - be hands on and help organize the team and project
  • Assist financial operations (Purchase Orders, pre-payments, payment schedules etc.) as important part of our financial event operations
  • Help coordinate MS Teams and MS SharePoint sites, our storage for important project documents
  • Prepare and maintain event lists (hotels, staffing, crew catering etc.) that are imperative for our seamless event execution
  • Participate in leading an event workstream such as F&B, branding or others to learn event project management from scratch
  • Potentially support event operations onsite (general admin, management of a production office etc.)

What you bring

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences.

  • Preferred fields of study: Event Management, Business Marketing or Communications, or Masters in related topic areas
  • Strong communication, analytic and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and an innovation-driven approach to work
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office software applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage projects and timelines, alignment with key stakeholders
  • Pro-active character and reliable in delivering results, attention to detail
  • Good self-organization skills – this role is a fully integrated team member with own responsibilities and deliverables
  • Fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Others: Interest in event planning is necessary, experience would be beneficial
  • Working from the office (Walldorf) is required 2/3 times a week at the beginning and can be flexible afterwards

This working student will support programs that are key to the SAP priorities related to the design, management and execution of a portfolio of key events to SAP’s sales, marketing, and corporate objectives.
