What you’ll build

We are looking for a Head of Product Management for Asset Performance Management (APM) (f/m/d) to take the responsibility for defining and execution the product vision, strategy and roadmap for SAP’s APM product. The role leads a team of product managers and works cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, partners and customers to deliver scalable, value-driven solutions aligned with SAP’s AI-First and Suite-First strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and own the APM product vision and strategy, aligned with SAP’s Intelligent Asset Management portfolio direction and AI vision
  • Lead the complete product lifecycle from ideation, development to launch and adoption
  • Define and prioritize product roadmap following clear value-based framework
  • Ensure high-quality and high-speed delivery in a close collaboration with engineering and UX/UA
  • Engage directly with strategic customers in asset-intensive industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, utilities, Chemicals, travel & transportation) to validate and shape product direction
  • Partner with marketing to shape product positioning and messaging, support pre-sales and sales for strategic deals, drive customer adoptions and satisfaction and manage customer escalations effectively
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers
  • Fostering a culture of customer-centricity and outcome-driven thinking
  • Coach team on strategic thinking, stakeholder management and execution excellence

What you bring

Required

  • 10-12+ years in enterprise software product management roles, ideally with leadership responsibility
  • Strong domain expertise in asset-intensive industries and Asset Management / EAM / APM / IoT / Maintenance & Reliability
  • Strong track records of embedding AI in enterprise applications to improve user efficiency and decision quality
  • Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise products at scale
  • Executive communication: crisp narratives, stakeholder influence, strong negotiation and storytelling skills
  • Ability to operate in a global matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of innovation and adoption trends in APM
