Japanese & German speaking Sales Representative

A growing Japanese machine parts manufacturer based in Germany is currently looking for a Japanese and German speaking Sales Representative to join their team in Dusseldorf.

This role will suit someone who enjoys creating and developing good relationships with clients, and is fluent in English and German, and conversational Japanese.

CORE DUTIES

• Project management of running projects with key customers
• Follow up on existing customers inquires
• Follow up on new customers inquires
• Regular customer visits to discuss ongoing projects or to promote new project opportunities
• Market/Technology/Competitor analysis
• Overall monitoring of project and account related business/sales status
• Planning of sales promotion activities
• Involvement and problem solving in daily operation like delivery issue/claims etc.
• Reporting sales/project status to related departments in Japan

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Business level of fluency in German and English both speaking & writing
• Conversational level Japanese, and understanding of Japanese culture
• Willingness to learn new products
• Communication skill to build a good relationship with the clients
• Experience in sales or similar industry is beneficial but not necessary
