Junior Category Manager - Highstreet (all genders) - Lounge by Zalando

Role: As a Junior Category Manager in the Highstreet Budget Category of Lounge by Zalando, you will be part of a high‑performing team creating innovative ways to connect people and fashion in the Offprice segment. You are responsible for branded buying and will work closely with buying and planning teams. Responsibilities: - Own your portfolio: source new brands, negotiate terms, and shape the assortment while staying on top of trends. - Drive growth by cultivating strong relationships with key suppliers. - Lead trend analysis and propose innovative ideas for the assortment. - Contribute to strategic development by collaborating with the Category Lead on budgets and assortment strategies, analysing performance and providing data‑driven insights. - Engage in cross‑functional collaboration with logistics, content, and fashion store teams to ensure alignment and maximize profit. Qualifications: - 1–2 years of buying experience in the fashion industry. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages a plus). - Proactive, quick‑thinking attitude and ability to work both independently and in a fast‑paced team environment.
