What you'll build
The Solution Advisor (SA) combines SAP Data & Analytics expertise, business acumen, and end-to-end solution area domain process knowledge to drive customer-specific demos, POCs, product innovation, and market leadership.
The focus is on supporting the field teams with deep SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and technical expertise, helping deliver best-in class presales to address customer’s business challenges. Additionally, the role drives domain expertise to create critical assets such as roadmaps and provide feedback to product teams to support future developments, working to support the SAP AI first Suite first strategy as one team.
SAP BDC is a SaaS solution that unifies and governs all SAP data while seamlessly connecting with third-party data, enabling business leaders to make impactful and data-driven decisions.
- Solution leadership: Engage early in solution / process discovery and requirements gathering and exhibits how SAP can provide the best solution to achieve their business outcomes
- Demonstration, innovation & field impact: Deliver impactful demos and create a lasting impression. Also provides best-in-class experience with customer specific AI embedded POCs
- Maximize solution value: Support solution clarifications by bringing technical expertise to maximize solution value for customers and in turn helps adoption and consumption
What you bring
- Account Management: Experience in new sales and adoption by providing deep solution-specific expertise; Deliver solution presentations and events to help identify and qualify new opportunities; Establish as the thought leader of the account team and fine tune account strategy; Guide the team in creation of overall theme & competitive differentiation (value wedges)
- Functional experience: Prior work experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise of at least one solution segment/LoB; Working knowledge of cloud in the B2B environment, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks
- Soft skills: Focus on creating compelling story-lines and themes for all customer interactions; Ability to quickly understand our customer’s most important business goals and expectations and ensure they are at the center of our recommended solutions
- SAP Specific Knowledge: Understanding of SAP Data & Analytics offerings and customer use cases; Broad understanding of SAP solution’s portfolio and the business processes they enable are a plus
- Language proficiency: Fluency in German and English, alongside excellent communication and presentation abilities as part of your core toolkit
