Solution Sales Expert (f/m/d) Finance & Spend Management

What you’ll do
- Lead efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share for SAP’s Finance and Spend solutions as well as Cloud ERP within named accounts in Germany.
- Initiate contact and establish interest with key decision makers from existing F&S clients and customers using our solution portfolio only partially.
- Build and execute a strong pipeline for Finance, Spend and Cloud ERP to achieve the quarterly and yearly sales target.
- Understand the customer’s challenges and business goals and map those with the F&S solution portfolio.
- Develop strategic sales plans for the owned territory, aligning the plans with the SAP Industry Account Executive, SAP Partners and SAP Sales Management.
- Orchestrate and motivate a virtual opportunity team along all phases of a sales cycle.
- Stay informed about SAP’s competition and value drivers.
- Build customer participation in relevant SAP communities, programs, and events.
- Maintain relationships and align with co‑selling partners and third‑party software vendors.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 7+ years of professional sales experience with SAP solutions (Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing/Contracts, Finance/AP, ERP, Business Technology Platform or Workforce Management), SaaS solutions, VMS or Procurement.
- Relationships in procurement and finance communities (e.g., CPOs, CFOs, procurement/finance directors, Head of Direct or Indirect Procurement) of advantage.
- Solid understanding of business networks and procurement/finance market opportunities.
- Track record of successfully selling/liaising at the C‑level with a corporate client network.
- Professional, self‑starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Ability to achieve individual and team goals in a complex sales cycle and communicate solutions.
- High levels of energy and drive, thriving under pressure with strong business acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (min. C1) and English.
