Senior Zoll Manager (all genders)

Role Senior Zoll Manager (all genders) – responsible for import and export customs processes, ensuring successful customs checks and high quality of procedures, and leading projects and initiatives for process improvements. Responsibilities - Drive customs projects and implement leading‑practice approaches in interdisciplinary teams. - Conduct knowledge transfer, training and mentoring on customs matters for colleagues and stakeholders. - Manage import and export projects, accompany customs inspections and act as the internal point of contact for customs issues. - Advise operational teams on complex customs topics. - Initiate and implement process optimisation initiatives with high degree of creative freedom. - Lead a cross‑functional team, coordinate with authorities, external service providers, suppliers and logistics sites. - Contribute to a supportive team culture with flexible mobile‑working options. Qualifications - Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance or Customs Administration or comparable vocational training with relevant practical experience. - In‑depth experience with customs procedures and authorisations (e.g., customs warehousing, shipping procedures) and strong project‑management skills. - Fluent communication skills in German and English. - Proven track record of managing complex process improvements and implementations. - Proactive, pragmatic and resilient attitude.
