What to expect at Berlin Beer Week

Berlin Beer Week features an exciting and varied programme to showcase the diversity of brewing in the German capital. This year you can also expect guest breweries from all over the world. 

Some of the highlights of this year's programme include: 

• Opening party 
• Six Brews Cruises, each with a different theme
• More than 30 events at bars and breweries all over Berlin

Expect "Tap Takeovers" with some of the best breweries from Europe and even the USA! Most international guest breweries are celebrating their first time in Germany. But visitors can also prepare for a guided beer hike through Berlin, food pairings, beer quizzes, live music, special tasting sessions and much more. The only limit is your imagination.

Embark on a Brews Cruise

The biggest and unmissable highlight from Berlin Beer Week 2024 is an old time classic: the Brews Cruise! And there's not just one, but six cruises in total: one each Friday and two each Saturday.

Each cruise has a different theme and promises up to 30 beers on tap, a live DJ on board and amazing views from the water. This year’s festival beer: Trainsotting Berlin

This year’s festival beer will again be a blast. Trainsotting Berlin is a special Cold Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with Scottish brewery BrewDog and Berlin brewery Lemke. This unique brew is a refreshing and innovative addition to the festival lineup, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of these renowned breweries.

Featured European breweries

This year's festival will feature the crème de la crème of European breweries, showcasing the finest brews the continent has to offer. After the European beer Tap Takeover, don't miss the big afterparty at Bräugier Ostkreuz, celebrating these exceptional breweries!
