Outdoors, expect to find an area dedicated to street food, offering a wide range of culinary products from all over the world, while indoors, there will be a marketplace, where you will have the chance to buy products and pastries directly from the producers.

You will find the most classic chocolate specialities, as well as more curious and unique recipes especially created for this event, and various chocolate creations to take and enjoy at home. Needless to say, hot chocolate will be available, along with a selection of coffee drinks, some of which may include chocolate.

Chocolate-themed talks and workshops

To liven up the atmosphere, there will be chocolate-themed talks and workshops. The festival is ideal for families, and there's even a dedicated kids area. The entrance fee is 4 euros, but it is free for children up to 12 years of age. Tickets are already available, so book them in advance to secure your place!

The Berlin Chocolate Festival also aims to share ideas and knowledge with its side-programme featuring talks, workshops and demonstrations led by Berlin confectioners. Attendees can gain valuable insights into the world of chocolate. Typically, such workshops come with a high price tag, but at this event they are offered at the affordable rate of 5 euros.

berlin-chocolate-festival-small.jpgHighlights include a session with Giorgio Mecca, the owner of Giomecca pastry shop, discussing various chocolate types and tempering techniques. Another must-attend workshop features Elena Zhuravleva from LETA Patisserie, demonstrating the art of crafting miniature eclairs. Additionally, a special workshop tailored for children is on the programme: Anna Marcantonio from Dolci e Salati pastry shop will guide the young festival attendees through creating chocolate teddy bears. The complete programme will be announced shortly.

The Berlin Chocolate Festival is organised by Berlin Italian Communication / True Italian, who are already known as the successful organisers of culinary events such as the Italian Street Food Festival, the Pizza Street Food Festival, and the Pistachio Street Food Festival. The Berlin Chocolate Festival represents True Italian's new challenge to create for Berlin its very own chocolate festival!
