Berlin graffiti workshop and tour

The urban subculture of tagging, graffiti-ing and mural painting is full of depth. And Berlin has a reputation for being a hotbed of graffiti talent.

On this walking tour, ideas surrounding street art will be discussed and explored in detail, such as the fact that one person’s crime is another’s burst of creativity. One person’s idea of an eyesore is another person’s idea of a masterpiece. An act of vandalism can actually be an act of beauty.

The walk begins at 12 pm at Alexanderplatz and gradually heads towards the studio in HB55 in Lichtenberg, where the workshop takes place. There are many works of art to stop and look at along the way through Kreuzberg. During the workshop, you’ll be shown how to create street art as you make your own stencil and get your hands on some brightly-coloured spray cans.
