German airports add new direct flights for autumn 2026

Several German airlines have now announced schedule changes for autumn 2026 and revealed which new direct flights they will run from German airports.

Lufthansa and co announce new direct flights

Lufthansa, Discover Airlines, EasyJet, Eurowings and Condor have announced which new direct flights they will run from German airports starting this autumn. 

More airlines operating out of German airports are expected to announce new direct routes in the coming weeks, but here’s what the first tranche has to offer.

New direct flights from Frankfurt

Frankfurt is one of Germany’s largest aviation hubs. Starting October 25, Lufthansa will run a new direct flight between Frankfurt and Kuala Lumpur five times per week.

Condor has announced five new direct flights from Frankfurt for autumn 2026, to Abu Dhabi (UAE), Cairo (Egypt), Tel Aviv (Israel), Sanya (China) and La Réunion (French overseas territory). 

Starting late October, Discover Airlines will run direct flights from Frankfurt to Agadir twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.

Direct flights from Munich in autumn 2026

Discover will run another new direct flight from Munich to Fès, Morocco. 

For those who don’t want Mediterranean sunshine in winter and would prefer Nordic cosiness, the airline will run direct flights from Munich to Ivalo in Finnish Lapland once a week between December 2026 and March 2027.

New direct flights from BER Airport 

Those flying from Berlin have several new destination options. Condor will launch direct connections to Abu Dhabi, while Eurowings will connect the German capital with Rome four times per week and Bologna three times per week from November 2.

Like in Munich, Eurowings will also now offer Berliners a direct route to Finnish Lapland, namely Kuusamo. Starting December 20, the airline will also run twice-weekly flights to Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Another Eurowings direct connection will also give Berliners the option to skip the months of grey life-in-a-tupperware-box winter for Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain.

Direct flights from Nuremberg in autumn 2026

Anyone in Nuremberg will have new options to leave the grey German winter behind for the grey English winter.

From November 2, EasyJet will run new direct flights from Nuremberg to Manchester, from November 19 new direct flights to London Gatwick and from November 23 new direct flights to London Luton.
