You might have only recently recovered from your horrific hangover, but Oktoberfest is already back. As always, beers will cost a little more this year than last. We take a closer look at what Wiesen visitors can expect in 2026:
Oktoberfest beer prices in 2026
Oktoberfest 2026 will run from September 19 until October 4, and this year, revellers can expect to pay somewhere between 14,80 euros and 15,90 euros for a one-litre Maß of beer - the typical Oktoberfest libation. This is up from between 14,50 euros and 15,80 euros in 2025.
Maß prices vary depending on which beer tent you visit. The cheapest Maß can be found in the Museumszelt (14,80 euros) and Augustiner Festhalle (14,90 euros). While most beers cost between 14 and 15 euros, one exception is Kufflers Weinzelt, which will serve an 18,40-euro Maß.

What else is changing at Oktoberfest 2026?
There are some other changes coming to the Wiesn this year which might be worth familiarising yourself with before you take your first sip of beer.
The lost and found office is moving to the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum on Theresienhöhe and will be open daily between 1pm and 8pm. Any lost property will only be available for collection the day after it is handed in.
The Wiesn will also be more easily accessible for wheelchair users. While street one was made wheelchair accessible in 2024 and streets two and three in 2025, street four has now also been modernised.
Paying with a card will also be easier across the festival. Nearly half of all vendors now support card payments. And you’ll have to worry less about locating and paying through the nose for water to balance out all that beer; there are now 10 free water fountains on the grounds.
