What you'll build

Join our Industry-University Collaboration team as a Working Student and help bridge the gap between SAP development and cutting‑edge research. Based in Potsdam, you'll play a key role in fostering partnerships between SAP and the vibrant research ecosystem in Potsdam and Berlin.

Your Mission

  • Support building and maintaining collaborations between SAP's research and development units
  • Create and manage repositories of research insights and relevant guidelines
  • Organize and coordinate applied research talks and events
  • Help strengthen partnerships with universities and research institutions in the Potsdam‑Berlin region

What You'll Gain

This role offers excellent exposure to SAP's innovation units and also on our business AI strategy, as most of our research collaborations focus on artificial intelligence applications. You'll gain valuable insights into how enterprise software development integrates with academic research while building your network in both industry and academia.

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university, preferably HPI
  • Preferred fields of study: Computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar
  • Computer skills: Very good Microsoft Office skills, no programming required
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and German
  • Soft skills: Team player, self‑organized, proactive, open, good communication, project management skills; goal‑ and result‑oriented in working with internal and external partners
  • Others: First (work) experience with AI, e.g., LLMs, Generative AI, Machine Learning projects; first work experience in internships or as working student

Where you belong

We are the MD Office of SAP Labs Germany, which is responsible for the strategic partnerships of SAP across multiple German locations, e.g., Berlin, Munich, Walldorf, as well as the location strategy of SAP in Germany, its business operations, customer engagement, and innovation development.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
