In the second year of study, you have the opportunity to tailor your practical phases to your interests and strengths. For this, you can choose one of six specializations that will shape your work at the company and your internal training. This specialization is independent of the theoretical content at the university and offers you the chance to gain practical experience in the area that excites you the most. You can choose from the following specializations:

What you bring
- High-school diploma with an average GPA of at least 2.5 or better according to the German equivalent of the grade (focus on math, computer science, and English)
- Fulfillment of the admission requirements of the respective partner university, including a confirmed higher education entrance qualification issued by the Central Office for the Recognition of Foreign Educational Qualifications of the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (IAS).
- Programming skills in at least one object-oriented programming language
- Advanced mathematical knowledge, including calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics and optimization
- Willingness to learn online
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Initiative and willingness to learn new things in a new way
- Social thinking and acting are desired
- A curious and agile mindset, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced and evolving environment

Please note: Applicants from China, Vietnam, and India are required to provide a valid APS certificate issued by the German Embassies in Beijing, Hanoi, or New Delhi at the time of application. In addition, you are excited to constantly learn new topics and work on them together as a team.

Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
