About this role
Your tasks
- During your internship, you will develop and enhance a GUI application in C# and WPF for our Airbag Application Board system.
- You will use UART (communication between the GUI and microcontroller) to configure, control, and read data from the Airbag ASIC and sensors.
- In this role you will work with the complete system architecture: GUI ↔ Microcontroller (UART) ↔ Airbag ASIC (SPI). Additionally, you will design user-friendly interfaces for ASIC configuration, sensor data visualization, and system control.
- Testing and debugging the GUI application to ensure reliable data exchange and system functionality will also be a key part of your work.
- Finally, you will collaborate with the firmware team to align GUI features with embedded system capabilities and document your work using version control (GitHub).
Your profile
- Education: studies in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: strong programming skills in C# and experience with WPF framework; understanding of serial communication protocols (UART) and data parsing; experience with GUI design principles and user experience (UX) considerations; basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you thrive in problem-solving, working independently and structured, you also communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Work Routine: office
- Languages: fluent in English
