Credit Analyst (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join the Japanese Corporate Banking Division in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This position supports Japanese corporate clients operating in the European market by providing financing solutions, credit management, and relationship support.

The Credit Analyst will work closely with Relationship Managers, primarily focusing on financial analysis, credit assessment, and supporting lending activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct financial analysis and credit risk assessment of Japanese corporate clients
• Support the preparation of credit applications, internal ratings, and lending proposals
• Assist in managing existing transactions, including loan renewals and amendments
• Analyze and support the execution of new financing transactions
• Monitor clients’ financial performance and business conditions
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support client coverage and communication

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or the financial industry
• Basic knowledge of financial analysis and corporate credit risk assessment
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English
