Data Analyst Recommerce (all genders)

Role: As a Data Analyst in the Recommerce team you will play a key role in building and scaling Zalando second‑hand solutions. You will create data transparency and transform data into meaningful, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions, contributing to the commercial success of the Pre‑owned and Trade‑in services. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Data Engineering, Business Development, Product and Operations teams on analytical efforts. - Develop the Recommerce data landscape together with data engineering, from solution design to implementation. - Develop, improve and automate reports and dashboards that answer key business questions. - Independently drive insights through purposeful analyses and ensure they lead to actions. - Proactively communicate actionable insights to stakeholders to support data‑driven decision‑making. - Act as a sparring partner for Pre‑owned management to support scaling. Qualifications: - Above‑average university degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field; 3+ years relevant experience, preferably in e‑commerce. - Strong analytical skills, expert in SQL, solid experience with Python and MicroStrategy, and confidence working with large data sets. - Entrepreneurial mindset with perseverance, ownership, and structured, independent work style. - Excellent English communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders. - Team player with a positive mindset and strong relationship‑building abilities.
