BUILD IT

  • External financing transactions including strategic or M&A-related capital market transactions (e.g. Eurobond issuances) in collaboration with M&A, Tax and Legal.
  • Financial modelling, e.g. related to SAP’s credit rating, capital structure and capital allocation, in close alignment with group cashflow planning to support SAP’s corporate strategy.
  • Support SAP’s capital allocation planning such as the shareholder’s dividend or share buyback programs as well as preparation of decision items for the SAP Executive Board and Supervisory Board.
  • Manage SAP’s supply chain finance programs to optimize the cash conversion cycle in alignment with global procurements and SAP’s platform Taulia.
  • Intercompany financing to support SAP subsidiaries and dividend planning to optimize repatriation to the mother.
  • Regular communication to banks, ratings agencies and debt investors.

BRING IT

  • Degree in business administration, economics or comparable studies with focus on finance, banking, or quantitative methods.
  • 5–10 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance, treasury or banking.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial modelling capabilities. Knowledge in AI-related technologies and solutions to leverage financial modelling would be a plus.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Business fluent in English and German.

SAP's Global Treasury department plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the SAP Group and is a crucial partner for the SAP Executive Board. We manage essential functions including corporate finance, capital market strategy, asset management, and financial risk management. Global Treasury also drives co-innovation with internal development teams and regularly engages with customers. We are closely partnering with SAP subsidiaries worldwide, ensuring seamless financial management and strong relationships to banks, auditors, rating agencies as well as internal stakeholders especially from accounting, tax, legal, investor relations or local CFOs.

You will be part of the Treasury Finance Team which consists of two major pillars: (1) Financial Risk Management (middle office) as well as (2) Corporate Finance incl. internal and external financing, capital structure and allocation, credit rating analysis, and (bank) guarantees.
