What You will Build

SAP Cloud Infrastructure is SAP’s enterprise cloud infrastructure stack that provides European data sovereignty and hyperscaler-grade capabilities. As a Product Security Expert for SAP Cloud Infrastructure product delivery into sovereign and private cloud setups you will collaborate with our customers on requirements engineering of their specific security requirements which they have to apply due to higher security and secrecy levels when utilizing SAP cloud products in their individual sovereign and private cloud setups. You will closely collaborate with SAP Cloud Infrastructure development team driving the alignment on architecture, design guidelines and implementation patterns of these specific security requirements of customers in sovereign and private cloud environments. You will drive the compliance of SAP Cloud Infrastructure product with the SAP Security Product Standard, represent our team in audits and compliance activities and work closely with several SAP security teams.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field with 10+ years of experience in designing & implementing security controls for cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing security concepts for SAP cloud products e.g. SAP Hana Cloud, SAP Analytic Cloud, Cloud Foundry, SAP Cloud Integration.
• Extensive background and knowledge of SaaS applications, Proxy/API architecture, Cloud security, Identity Access Management, Data Compliance Management, SSO.
• Knowledge of Open Stack security concepts and services is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in context of “BSI Grundschutzverordnung”
• Strong software security and / or operational security knowledge (e.g., threat modelling, code review, vulnerability testing, secure programming).
• Good skills in project management, analytical thinking, problem solving and presentation.
• Good communication skills with partners, customers and stakeholders.
• Depending on project assignment, candidate may need to be eligible for security clearance under German law
• Fluency in German and English language skills is mandatory.
