Working Student (f/m/d) - SAP Cloud Integration
About this role
We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you'll build
You will prototype the next generation of our product – together with our developers and some other students. In particular, you will research, try out and test new ways around topics like multi-tenancy, eventing and low latency. You will write code in Java (especially Spring Boot) and run it on Kubernetes.
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or similar
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent programming skills in at least one major language (Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, etc.)
- Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot is a plus
- Ability and passion to quickly learn state-of-the-art technologies
- Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
- Working from our Walldorf office is required
Where you belong
Cloud Integration is SAP’s strategic integration platform and one of the fastest growing cloud services at SAP. We write and operate software for our more than 15,000 customers to connect their SAP and non-SAP systems (like Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, etc.). As such, we provide the middleware for many of the world’s largest enterprises to run their core business processes. However, we are business agnostic and instead focus on things like scalability, security, interoperability, reliability, availability, and performance.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
