What you'll build

At SAP, we are bringing together state-of-the-art AI technology with our extensive industry-specific data and deep process knowledge to create innovative AI capabilities across SAP products & services. Large Language Models (LLMs) hold immense potential to change the way we work and develop products. They are reshaping the landscape of Machine Learning across various domains. However, they are not the final stage of AI advancements and there is a lot of untapped potential to use data other than language to solve modern problems of business software. It is SAP's mission to overcome these challenges within the realm of Business AI.

The Role

  • Practically apply the latest AI/ML advancements to SAP and customer problems
  • Translate new concepts and ideas into prototypes
  • Develop using a modern cloud infrastructure stack in BTP
  • Research, implement, and evaluate emerging industry trends and evaluate their potential in an SAP context
  • Work closely with product management, designers, data scientists, and other developers to ensure project success

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences in a STEM field in Germany, bachelor’s or master’s level
  • Python, node.js, Typescript + React proficiency required
  • Java, UI5 is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud software development tools: Git, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Language skills: English required, German is a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP technologies is a plus: BTP (Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes), CAP, HANA
