What you'll build
- Contribute to the modernization of our user interfaces, focusing on UI design, usability, and user experience
- Support in visual design and graphics creation for interfaces and icons
- Assist in the frontend implementation of design concepts, e.g., using TypeScript and Java
- Collaborate closely with the development team to transform design ideas into functional solutions and continuously improve them
- Contribute your work to open source projects like e.g. the Eclipse Platform
What you bring
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Media Informatics, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable field
- Initial experience in graphic design, visual design, and UI/UX design
- Knowledge of frontend programming (ideally TypeScript and Java)
- Language skills: Fluent in German and English both written and verbal
- Creativity, sense of aesthetics, and a good eye for user-friendly design
- Have an independent and structured working style combined with team spirit
- Regular onsite attendance at Walldorf office (2-3 days a week)
Where you belong
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
