Our team, Office of the Chief Communications Officer is part of Global Communications. Global Communications (GC) works relentlessly to establish and expand a crisis-confident culture at SAP with a clear objective: protecting SAP’s reputation by having well-prepared and trained colleagues, supported by best-in-class tools and processes, ready to address and contain any issue early and confidently.

We are a global team with colleagues working in Germany, the Netherlands and the US. A good sense of humor is a prerequisite to work with us.

What you'll build:

Position title: SAP Global Communications iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Crisis Communications

  • In your role you will support our crisis preparedness program which includes scenario-based projects, ad hoc project management support, (social) media monitoring, creating communications material and support trainings
  • This project enhances crisis confidence and enables crisis preparedness before the next crisis strikes

What you bring:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Position requirements
    • We are seeking an intern to support SAP’s crisis-confident culture and ensure optimal preparedness when the next crisis strikes. This Internship is an exciting opportunity to help drive a key area within GC while learning about Crisis Communications at SAP
  • Educational requirements
    • student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Language requirements (specify level: fluent, basic understanding, etc.)
    • Fluent in English; knowledge of German, would be an asset, but isn’t required
  • Desired skills / experience to be successful in this role
    • Writing Skills: Ability to connect multiple, related streams of content with clarity and precision, in line with SAP’s purpose and values
    • Creativity: A creative and open‑minded approach to convey content and processes in a fun and engaging way
    • Design Skills: Good knowledge of Powerpoint and other software to conceptualize and create on‑brand visuals based on requirements
  • Qualifications for the role (differentiate “must‑have” and “nice‑to‑have”)
    • We are looking for a colleague who enjoys the challenge of being a self‑starter, likes to interact with all types of people, and has a good sense of humor

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
