Pricing Strategy Principal (all genders) - ZEOS

Role: Pricing Strategy Principal (part‑time, temporary until March 2027) in ZEOS, Zalando’s B2B logistics unit. The role shapes and strengthens the holistic pricing strategy across logistics, software and services for B2B customers, collaborating with product, commercial, controlling, marketing and strategy teams. Responsibilities: - Lead strategic pricing projects and develop data‑driven pricing initiatives. - Define and test product‑market‑fit hypotheses, building pricing models and analyses. - Design and implement process‑optimization measures, including AI‑enabled solutions, to improve speed, quality and collaboration. - Provide hands‑on support for standard and complex pricing requests, delivering actionable commercial value. - Establish best‑practice guidelines, documentation standards and result‑sharing structures. - Drive adoption of industry and academic pricing trends across the organisation. - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and threats. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus). - 10+ years experience in pricing analysis, strategy or related roles within logistics, e‑commerce or digital services, preferably B2B. - Proven track record of developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. - Advanced understanding of pricing models, methodologies and their impact on business performance. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data transformation, statistical computing and BI tools (MicroStrategy, Excel, Google Sheets); experience with R/Python/SQL and AI solutions is a plus. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
