About this role

Role: Zalando’s ZEOS unit offers best‑in‑class fulfilment solutions to B2B partners across Europe. The team combines logistics, tech and industry expertise to unlock the full potential of the European market. Responsibilities: - Drive market creation and strategic acquisition: build new geographic or industry markets, launch profitable verticals from scratch and secure long‑term contracts. - Master complex stakeholder navigation and organisational balance: negotiate across tech, product and finance teams while advocating for partners and protecting ZEOS margins. - Architect high‑impact, scalable solutions: translate commercial, financial and operational insights into enterprise‑wide strategies. - Build economic C‑suite partnerships: develop trusted relationships with senior executives and map ZEOS solutions onto their balance sheets. - Own cross‑functional complexity and execution: act as the bridge between business, logistics, operations and tech to resolve supply‑chain or inventory bottlenecks. - Drive continuous optimisation and process innovation: identify and implement improvements to sales and operational processes. - Act as an organisational force multiplier: capture learnings, create playbooks and mentor junior colleagues. Qualifications: - Graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a similarly rigorous field. - 8+ years of B2B enterprise sales or strategic consulting experience with a proven track record of launching new verticals or scaling complex account portfolios. - Startup grit and persistence: thrive in an agile, high‑velocity environment with ambiguous processes. - Deep understanding of logistics, e‑commerce infrastructure, wholesale or physical supply‑chain operations. - Strong analytical, numbers‑driven approach: interpret KPIs, predict market trends and build data‑backed business cases. - Excellent stakeholder management and diplomatic skills; able to secure cross‑functional alignment. - Ability to mentor and share best practices. - Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a strong asset.
