They are seeking a Senior Staff Accounting (m/w/d) in their Düsseldorf (or Frankfurt) office.

Job Responsibilities

Daily Tasks

Document collection and invoice filing
Supplier invoice and exchange rate checks
Bank reconciliation and petty cash management

Weekly Tasks

Weekly payments

Monthly/Bi-monthly Tasks

Reports to Deutsche Bank and bank balance checks
Petty cash bookkeeping (Office & Personal)
Statements issuance (customers, subsidiaries, agents)
Payment arrangements (subsidiaries, agents, Zoll lists)
Profit, warehouse, and MD report creation

Annual Tasks

Audit
Personal income tax filing (overseas residents)

Job Requirements

Business-level English and German language skills
Successfully completed studies in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable
Knowledge of German GAAP, German tax law
ERP knowledge
Knowledge of MS Excel
Experience in a freight forwarding company is preferred
Sense of responsibility and solution-oriented thinking
Structured, independent and conscientious way of working with a high degree of precision
Experience in the Inside Sales, Customer Service or Pricing departments is an advantage
Ability to work in a team
Good communication and cooperation skills
