The hit Netflix series Queer Eye is heading to Germany, and will be released on the online streaming platform on March 9, 2022.

Queer Eye has gained popularity across the globe

The successful show is a reality series hailing from the US, which brands itself as “more than a makeover”. Five experts take over key elements of an individual’s life - fashion, grooming, culture, food, lifestyle and more, in the aim of giving that individual a happier life.

The show has been widely praised for its inclusivity and openness towards the LGBT+ community, and is a popular show around the world, with millions of views across the globe. Despite the American series having filmed a US-cast season in Japan, the new German version will be the first non-American season and fans hope it will pave the way for more international versions in the future.

The trailer for Queer Eye Germany is already available online

The creators of the series have already released a trailer for the German show. The streaming service also included several details about the show’s new “fab five” experts in a press release in December 2021.

“Work / life coach Leni Bolt, fashion virtuoso Jan-Henrik Scheper-Stuke, beauty guru David Jakobs, nutrition and health expert Aljosha Muttardi and design ace Ayan Yuruk are taking the baton as the German Fab 5,” Netflix wrote.

Queer Eye Germany is produced by ITV Studios Germany, and will be available to stream on the internet in Germany on March 9, 2022.
