Frankfurter Buchmesse - More than just a book fair

Founded in 1949, the global book fair is a trade event but opens its doors to the general public on the last two days. Bringing together experts from global publishing houses with key partners from the technology and creative industries, the Frankfurt book fair serves as the main platform for new collaborations.

The book fair covers a massive range of content which is split into different subject groups, ranging from fiction and non-fiction to art, religion, science, tourism and children’s books. As the leading international hub for the book trade, Frankfurter Buchmesse also prides itself on creating a unique cultural and social atmosphere for all its visitors.

The fair typically welcomes around 7.500 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, drawing in over 286.000 visitors from 137 countries to over 4.000 events!
