Lollapalooza Berlin is a world-famous music festival in Berlin, attracting music fans from far and wide. The sounds of rock, punk rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, pop, electronic, hip hop and more can be heard during this two-day music festival at Berlin’s Olympia Park and Olympia Stadium.

What is Lollapalooza?

"Berlin's energy, vibrant art, fashion and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about.”

Lollapalooza is based on the original Lollapalooza festival that began in Chicago in 1991 in the grunge era. It has spread its wings to more locations across the globe, so editions of the legendary festival are now held in Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, Chicago, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo.

The word “Lollapalooza” is an American slang term dating back to the 1890s that can be loosely translated as “an extraordinary or unusual thing, person, or event”. Extraordinary it sure is.

Ever since its first European edition in 2015, Lollapalooza Berlin has been attracting music fans from all over Europe to this unique festival extravaganza. The festival founder declared: "Berlin's energy, vibrant art, fashion and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about.”
