Run for More Time - Charity Run in Frankfurt

Run for More Time (Lauf für mehr Zeit), the charity run held each year in Frankfurt is a regular event on the yearly running roster! Even with the corona crisis and social distancing measures in place, the event will go ahead, because what the event stands for never wanes in importance. 

Run for More Time is a charity run in which runners of all ages can participate, to raise money for AIDS. The event is in cooperation with the AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt Foundation (AHF). It is popular for all ages, from students to young professionals and from athletics fanatics to families with kids. On Opera Square (Opernplatz) there will be a stage, food, drinks and information stands.

Run for More Time 2021

There will only be one 1K run and one 5K run. Each race will involve different sets of runners setting off in various intervals, to avoid congestion and so that runners can mainting a healthy distance from one another.

Runners can also participate in the digital run, like last year. Each runner receives a start number and a small token of gratitude from the organisation by post. Sponsors donate to the AHF for every kilometre that the participants run. To do this, the runners enter the distance run, the time and a photo of the tracking watch and afterwards they receive their certificate.

Prepare for your charity run

There is online running training with tips from professionals on the organisation's social media channels. As before, participants raise money in advance for their participation from friends, acquaintances or work colleagues and then take part in the run.

Registrations are open and it costs 8 euros for the 1 km run and 19 euros for the 5 km run. Check out the Run for More Time website and plan your charity run!
