Good news for Germany’s Potterheads, Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is coming to the country for the first time, offering a celebration of the iconic moments, characters and settings.

International Harry Potter exhibition will come to Munich

Harry Potter™: The Exhibition is making an appearance in Germany for the first time. From May 10, 2024, the world-touring exhibition will occupy the Kleine Olympiahalle in Munich for the entire summer, giving fans from around Germany plenty of time to make the trip and experience their favourite elements of the Harry Potter stories.

According to its own description, Harry Potter™: The Exhibition, uses immersive design and technology to “[delight] visitors through powerful storytelling and innovative, interactive technology and features original props and costumes”.

As well as the main Harry Potter series, for mega-fans the exhibition includes the opportunity to explore the world of two Harry Potter spin-offs, Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Visitors can choose their favourite Hogwarts house, wand and Patronus to begin a personalised journey through the exhibition, as well as practising their Quidditch skills.

Tickets now on sale for Harry Potter exhibition in Munich

With Harry Potter fans in every corner of the country, it might be well worth reserving your tickets as soon as possible. While the exhibition only begins on May 10, tickets are already available to purchase online. Depending if you want to book a ticket with a restricted time window, a flex ticket or a VIP one, a visit will set you back somewhere between 29,90 and 74,90 euros.

The exhibition is suitable for children and adults alike, and for anyone still brushing up on their German, exhibits and information guides will be available in both English and German.
