[Video] Explore fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle in 360 degrees

Jun 2, 2019

In 2017, the German National Tourist Board asked tourists from around the world to vote for their top sight and attractions in Germany. Now, broadcaster Deutsche Welle has created 360-degree videos of the top 10 attractions, and they’re too good not to share!

Just by clicking and dragging with either your mouse or your finger, you can decide what to see in the video. If you’re on your mobile phone, you can also tilt the screen to make the image move. Pretty cool, right?

Schloss Neuschwanstein is probably the most famous - and arguably the most photogenic - castle in Germany and, quite rightly, it made it to position number three on the list of top attractions. It was built in 1869 by the original “Mad King” Ludwig II of Bavaria as a personal retreat, and nowadays is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world.

Save on your train fare and beat the crowds, as the video below lets you see Neuschwanstein Castle as you’ve never seen it before!
