What you'll build

As a working student for Visual design in our Strategic Projects – Research & Innovation Team you will work on a variety of innovative and strategic technology projects. Advised by our senior designers, you will support the team with the creation of compelling and understandable visualizations for technical presentations, strategic communications assets, keynotes, internal (team) communication such as newsletters, SharePoint, social media posts.

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in Visual Design or a related field (min. 2 semesters left)
  • A design portfolio (online), showcasing Visual work
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in creating communications assets such as slides, newsletters, SharePoint website
    • A great eye for detail
  • Language skills: Fluent in German or English (written and spoken)
  • Soft skills:
    • Eager to learn about new technologies
    • Hands-on, reliable and open‑minded mentality
    • Strong team working skills
    • Determined to reach a goal in time, to work independently and to prioritize tasks
  • Work Experience: We are preferably looking for a working student with prior work experience as a student worker in a similar field or within your studies. This can be an exciting opportunity for a motivated design student who wishes to gain more practical design experience.
  • Work either from Waldorf/Berlin or Potsdam possible (We would greatly appreciate it if you could come to the office regularly so we can get to know each other in person and benefit from collaborating onsite as a team.)

Where you belong

At Strategic Projects, as part of the CTO area, we are driving forward SAP’s development excellence by implementing cutting‑edge and strategically relevant solutions for pressing topics. We provide expertise with tech evaluations and develop proof‑of‑concepts for strategic technology topics. Our team consists of about 65 colleagues who are students, young professionals, and experienced professionals in software development, design, project management and team/management assistance. We work in teams mainly located in Potsdam/Berlin and Walldorf and collaborate closely with other SAP teams to realize our mission.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
