What You'll Do
At SAP, you will join the Research & Innovation team to pioneer technologies foundational for SAP and our customers' future success. Working globally across diverse roles, you'll focus on Embodied AI agents that operate through robots, enhancing SAP's business context. Your role centers on partner engagement, building and scaling robot vendor partnerships that integrate with SAP solutions (e.g., EWM, APM, EHS) for independent customer value delivery. You'll collaborate with vendors, integrators, and teams to validate AI solutions, drive PoCs, and promote innovation through various engagements, directly shaping SAP’s physical AI ecosystem and partner-led innovation strategy.
The Role:
- Engage closely with robot vendors, ecosystem partners, and customers to identify, explore, and validate Embodied AI use cases aligned with SAP LoB priorities.
- Drive partner-led technical PoCs, prototypes, and joint demos that integrate Embodied AI with SAP solutions (e.g., EWM, APM, EHS).
- Coordinate cross-company innovation initiatives with robot vendors, system integrators, and SAP LoBs, from early exploration to market readiness.
- Assess partner technical, commercial, and execution readiness to support scalable Embodied AI adoption.
- Analyze engagement, PoC, and usage data to demonstrate partner-driven business value and inform next step investments.
- Create compelling partner and customer-facing narratives, artifacts, and briefings for executive audiences, events, and showcases.
- Identify repeatable, scalable partnership patterns that embed AI-driven physical operations into SAP customer landscapes.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of AI concepts, especially AI agents, SAP Business AI, SAP cloud portfolio, and Joule.
- Experience with or strong interest in partner and ecosystem engagement models.
- Ability to evaluate technical fit, scalability, and commercial viability of partner solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret PoC outcomes, engagement data, and customer feedback.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with global, cross-functional, and cross-company teams.
- Creative problem-solving mindset and adaptability in fast-moving innovation environments.
- Enthusiasm for hands-on work with cutting-edge AI, robotics, and partner-driven innovation.
- Fluency in English and German
- Typescript proficiency is required; Python is a plus; knowledge of node.js, React is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud software development tools: Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
