Internship Category Management (all genders)

Role: Intern Category Management internship at Zalando, full‑time (40 h/week) for 6 months, supporting e‑commerce buying and category management. Responsibilities: - Support daily buying operations with buyers and merchandise planners, manage order maintenance, ensure quality objectives and delivery dates. - Own master data systems, maintain accurate product master data and create Excel tracking spreadsheets. - Serve as point of contact for international suppliers, handling order follow‑ups and operational queries. - Contribute to cross‑functional projects and provide analytical insights to improve category portfolio performance. Qualifications: - Currently studying or background in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion/Design or a related field. - Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with numbers and MS Excel. - Excellent written and verbal English communication and negotiation skills with international stakeholders. - Passion for fashion and e‑commerce, interest in consumer trends and category management. - (Optional) Previous experience as a working student or intern.
