If you’re new to the city of Cologne – or just haven’t got round to exploring it yet – then the Aperol Spritz Bar Walking Tour is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the best parts of the city. 

Described as the ultimate summer walk through Cologne, this tour allows you to experience some of the city’s local food highlights and favourite bars, all the while sipping on an Aperol Spritz or two – sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

What to expect on the Bar Walking Tour

Coronavirus restrictions have forced many summer events in Cologne to be cancelled or postponed, leaving the summer months barren and uneventful – an uncharacteristic trait for the vibrant city. 

In an attempt to spice up the summer, Øff Events, in collaboration with Aperol Spritz, have come up with the Aperol Spritz Bar Walking Tour featuring a selection of the city’s favourite bars and restaurants (which have finally been allowed to open their terraces). Of course, social distancing regulations have been put into place throughout the tour, to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Locations

The tour route goes right through the city centre of Cologne, and stops at three exclusive locations – known as Aperol Spritz Bar stations – where you can pick up your drinks as well as some culinary food delights, if you’re hungry:

• Location 2: LOUIS The Breakfast Club Cologne
• Location 3: Kaffeesaurus, Friesenplatz 15

Attending the Aperol Spritz Bar Walking Tour 2020

Tickets are compulsory for this event. Each ticket admits two people and comes with a special package of Aperol Spritz drinks and goodies - as well as a map of your tour route, drinks vouchers and a QR code for an exclusive Aperol Spritzw walking playlist on Spotify. There is, of course, an alcohol free option.
