The ChocolART festival offers a well-rounded programme of events, which covers a 10.000 square meter festival area. Over 100 leading chocolatiers and chocolate manufacturers from Africa, North and South America and Europe come together to offer their latest creations and share their passion with the public.
Tantalise your senses with everything choco-related, from melted confections and fine handmade chocolates, to chocolate tastings, creative praliné courses, chocolate artwork, unusual chocolate theatre, chocolate readings and much more! Chocolate-themed exhibitions and chocolate-focused regional foods pop-up across the city during the festival, spreading the love for this ingredient far and wide.
International chocolate festival in a historic city
In the ChocolMARKT visitors can browse through exhibitors' stands, sampling and purchasing their favourite types of cocoa and chocolates, while over in the ChocolROOM they can watch chocolate masters at work, crafting the finest bonbons.
Visitors can register to attend fine chocolate tastings or try their hands at the art of making chocolates at one of the many courses offered by the chocolatiers. Or they can stop by the ChocoPFAD to learn more about the origins of chocolate, view some special chocolate art or watch one of the many documentaries. There is even a dedicated kid’s programme with activities and events like chocolate decorating, designed with children and families in mind.
