Bahnhofsviertel, 60329 Frankfurt

Bahnhofsviertel (Station District) is commonly seen as one of the most culturally rich and vibrant areas of the city of Frankfurt. Which is why locals and internationals alike come together for one night each year to explore the area's traditional stores, innovative artist exhibitions and upcoming businesses.

Bahnhofsviertelnacht - a conversation with the people

The Station District has a lot to offer. It is one of the most lively areas of the city, as well as one of the most diverse. International restaurants, local artistic hubs, design office and music quarters - they're all here! As the city's cultural melting pot, every year a number of select businesses open their doors until late and host a series of events, celebrating their uniqueness, sense of community and differences during an event known as the Station District Festival.

Everyone, from local store owners to the opera house and resident religious communities, participates in the evening, creating a full and diverse programme with live music performances, exhibitions and food stands offering local treats. In addition, special one-hour tours are organised through the district for the evening, offering visitors a brief overview of different aspects of the neighbourhood, its history and the multicultural coexistence of more than 180 nations!
